Article: Mars Water: Much Ado About Very Little
Why are religious groups so adamant about there being no life out there? Even when we find something, anything, they are quick to denounce it. Why? Are you that threatened that we would not be the only life in this universe?

Article: What About Polygamy in the Bible?
This article is trying to give reasons why polygamy or polyamory is wrong. Yet they are giving proof from the Bible as to how it is NOT wrong.
"It is also interesting to note that polygamous relationships seem to be regulated in the commands Moses gave to the nation of Israel. Leviticus 18:18 instructs that a man should not marry sisters, and Deuteronomy 21:15 talks of assigning an heir to a man with two wives. Many commentators suggest that the passages do not endorse polygamy but rather prohibit it. Deuteronomy 21:15 may also be translated as “has had two wives” in succession rather than at the same time. The sisters in Leviticus 18:18 are understood by some to be any Israelite women. Regardless of the interpretation of these passages, the taking of multiple wives is not in accord with God’s design from the beginning."
This last sentence is a statement that contradicts everything said in the rest of the paragraph. Don't give examples from your source - the Bible - and then tell us that God, the same one whose book you are quoting, thinks it is wrong. Better yet, don't bring up how the Bible says nothing is wrong with it if you are trying to argue the opposite. It doesn't help with the rest of the article to say how one man, referring to church leaders, cannot have more than one wife.
Then to use a quote from the Bible in 1 Corinthians 7:1–16 that states: "But I say this as a concession, not as a commandment. " This sentiment that it is not a commandment is repeated in 2 Corinthians 8:8.
You are trying to get people not to do this, and give examples throughout the Bible as to how it has been allowed, and how it is not even a commandment?
